Job Description
- Work alongside the Unit Head to develop strategic plans for the department that are consistent with the strategic direction of the entity
- Responsible for a portfolio of existing and planned business applications, ensuring they are delivered on time and in budget
- Provide detailed progress reports to share with senior leadership demonstrating latest stages of business applications in development
- Develop detailed implementation plans for new applications, including testing new versions of systems to quickly resolve issues that could impact on services
- Monitoring of project performance and applying rigorous evaluation methodologies to ensure lessons are learnt and contribute to a cycle of continuous improvement
- Liaise with the Unit Head on procurement plans that clearly map out business requirements and adhere to all internal policies & procedures
The Successful Applicant
- Must have 3-5 years experience in Information Technology with a specific focus on application architecture and development
- A bachelors degree in IT Engineering, Computer Sciences or Systems Management. A PMP or ITIL qualification is highly preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to inspire and motive team members
- UAE National with Family Book. Fluent in Arabic & English
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to develop detailed strategic IT business plans that include timelines, milestones and resources required
