Job Title: IT Desktop Support Technician
Pay Rate: $11/hr (Independant Contractor)
You will provide backfill support as the primary engineer is on leave, covering their responsibilities during those days. Additionally, after this project ends, you will remain registered with the client and will be contacted again whenever support is needed.

Job Requirements:
- 2–3 years of IT infrastructure field support experience (hardware, software, OS troubleshooting).
- Ability to install and fix desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Experience with desk-side support, PC break/fix, and basic administration of Windows (Mac/Linux preferred).
- Smart hands support for networking and hardware equipment (routers, switches, racks, cabling, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including network cabling issues.
- Experience with problem management, repeat call analysis, and preventive actions.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle flexible schedules.
- Able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Preferred: Associate degree in Electronics, CompTIA A+ certification, or OEM certifications (Dell, Lenovo, etc.).
