Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, for an IT & E-Commerce Systems Manager. The manager will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions and e-commerce platforms. Responsibilities include managing system operations, coordinating with internal teams, ensuring system security, analyzing IT and e-commerce performance metrics, and implementing digital strategies to improve online sales and user experience. Collaboration with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives is a key part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce platforms and website performance
Ensure website stability, scalability, and uptime during high-traffic product launches
Oversee hosting, servers, domains, and technical integrations
Manage payment gateways, checkout flow, and online security
Lead pre-launch technical checks and be fully responsible during live launches
Coordinate with marketing, warehouse, and operations teams during releases
Manage internal IT infrastructure including hardware, software, licenses, and user access
Handle troubleshooting, incidents, and system improvements
Liaise with external vendors and service providers
Requirements
Proven experience in e-commerce systems and website management
Strong understanding of hosting, servers, and web performance optimization
Experience with online payment systems and security standards
Background in managing internal IT systems (hardware & software)
Ability to work under pressure during critical launch periods
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience with retail or high-volume online sales is a strong plus
