Role Description The IT Engineer (Networking and Infrastructure) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and related hardware. The IT Engineer will diagnose and resolve network and infrastructure issues, provide technical support to internal users, and ensure network security measures are effectively implemented. Daily tasks include managing system performance, performing routine maintenance and updates, documenting configurations and procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on IT projects and improvements. The role also requires proactive identification of risks, participation in disaster recovery planning, and adherence to organizational IT policies and best practices.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Networking skills, including configuration and management of LAN/WAN environments.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including implementing firewalls, access controls, and security best practices.
Candidates should possess Information Technology and Technical Support skills for managing systems, resolving incidents, and assisting users.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with server administration, virtualization, and cloud-based services is an advantage.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment.
