Job Summary
The IT Executive will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting the company's IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user support. The role requires hands-on technical expertise in network configuration, security, system maintenance, and providing timely IT assistance to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Hands-on experience in MacBook configurations.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot network issues (e.g., connectivity, performance, security) and provide timely resolutions.
• Perform routine network monitoring and ensure network performance and availability
meet company requirements.
• Help configure and maintain network devices such as VLANs, subnets, IP routing, and VPNs.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of internal and external network systems, including
local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and cloud-based networks.
• Configuration, troubleshooting, and management of database storage servers and cloud servers.
• Support network security efforts by assisting with firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN configurations.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in network performance optimization and capacity planning activities.
• Assist in the management of network access control and network traffic analysis.
• Provide support for end-users regardingnetwork-related issues, both in person and remotely.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of network-related systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking, and system administration.
• Hands-on experience with MacBook configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, VLANs, IP routing, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with server management, database storage systems, and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of network security practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with IT teams.
