IT General Manager Dubai, Full Time
We are looking for an IT General Manager to join our client, who are a leading organization in Dubai. As the General Manager, you will to lead strategic initiatives, oversee technical project execution, and drive business expansion into new markets with a wide range of new products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Identify and capitalize on business opportunities and partnerships.
- Lead the development and launch of new IT solutions and products.
- Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Establish performance metrics and drive team development.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures.
- Oversee IT infrastructure improvements and regulatory compliance.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Masters degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum Master) and relevant IT fields (MCP, CCNA, cloud, cybersecurity).
- 15+ years of IT industry experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in software development, IT project management, and enterprise technology solutions.
- Proven success in business development, financial management, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, compliance (GDPR, ISO), and emerging tech (AI, machine learning, blockchain).
