Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, controls, and best practices to ensure secure, efficient, and consistent operations across all systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Business Units) to ensure alignment between IT governance standards and technical delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT governance and architecture-related matters, ensuring coordination and compliance across departments.
- Lead audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, ensure adherence to IT and data governance frameworks, and implement corrective measures.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of IT governance performance, driving accountability and transparency.
- Provide guidance and oversight for IT budget planning, cost optimization, and resource allocation to ensure financial efficiency and value realization.
- Mentor, and develop teams responsible for IT governance and architecture, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to report on IT performance, risks, and insights for strategic decision-making.
- Lead and guide the CAB committee to ensure that all changes deployments are following the governance guidelines.
People Management
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talents for their respective Department
- Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
- Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team and provide regular feedback on performance
