Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in managing the development, implementation and updating of the IT strategy.
  • Support in managing the development, implementation and updating of the IT governance model, policies and procedures and overseeing its enforcement and compliance across GPC.
  • Act as a liaison between business operations and IT and ensure that data related requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and well understood.
  • Support risk and audit assessment processes and contribute to the identification and mitigation of IT-related risks and audit findings & observations
  • Prepare and present reports on IT governance metrics and compliance status to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of IT governance practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure alignment with applicable frameworks such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL
  • Oversee ITSM governance by ensuring process compliance and maturity improvements on related processes such as CMDB , service catalog data, Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management etc.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and Experience: 2-5 years experience in IT administrator, governance, compliance, risk management or a related field.

Education and Certifications: Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related fields.

• Certifications (Preferred): such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT or COBIT.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Experience in IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO20K)
  • Risk Assessment & Management
  • IT Planning, Compliance, and IT Change Management
  • Vendor Management & Reporting
  • Relationship Management.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge in IT processes, policies, procedures and auditing.

  • Problem solving attitude, driving issues to conclusion and solution.
  • High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
