Role Description
We are seeking a Chief Accounting Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading all accounting operations, preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing audits, and supporting strategic financial planning in alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA / SOCPA or equivalent certification
- 34 years of experience as a Chief Accountant
- 57 years of total accounting experience
- Strong expertise in financial reporting and accounting standards
- Proven leadership and analytical skills
- Experience with accounting systems and financial technology is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of existing networks
- Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP
- Monitoring and maintaining IT systems, servers, networks, and applications
- Performing server administration tasks (e.g., user/group management, security permissions, group policies, print services); researching event-log warnings and errors; and monitoring resources to ensure seamless system integration
- Ensuring high availability and performance of IT services
- Monitoring data-center health using management tools and responding to hardware issues; assisting in building, testing, and maintaining new servers when needed
- Responding to and managing system outages and technical incidents
- Maintaining internal infrastructure requirements, including laptops, desktops, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved in network installation
- Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Reporting network status to key stakeholders
- Extensive experience in Voice systems administration
Required Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Voice network system requirements and standards
- Experience as a Server and Systems Administrator
- In-depth understanding of enterprise technology systems
- Extensive experience using different hypervisors and VMware
- Strong knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery methodologies and best practices
- Ability to lead the integration of complex enterprise-level servers and systems
- Managing and administering servers and systems to ensure system integrity
- Proactive monitoring of backups, storage, and server logs
- Knowledge and experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF) such as FortiGate
- Knowledge and experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Knowledge and experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- Knowledge and experience with mail security solutions
- Knowledge and experience with Sysmon and high-profile security configuration files
- Knowledge and experience with FortiClient VPN
Qualifications and Background
- Bachelor of Science in an Information Technologyrelated field
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Fluent in English
