Role Objectives:
The IT Infrastructure Lead is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Breadfast's IT infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable technology environments. The role provides technical leadership across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, supports cybersecurity and business continuity initiatives, establishes infrastructure standards, and collaborates with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure high system availability and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee network and systems infrastructure across the firm including configuration, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Coordinate implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity across the infrastructure
- Coordinate implementation and maintenance of the technology components of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide leadership and guidance to support on-prem and cloud hybrid infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development and adoption of infrastructure standards and procedures applicable to technology infrastructure.
- Provide management and expert-level guidance to technology infrastructure team members.
- Provide expert-level hands-on assistance as necessary with administration or maintenance of systems and infrastructure.
- Coordinate vendor, hardware and software selection and renewals for technology infrastructure
- Support in determining current and future infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth.
Required Education, Knowledge, And Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or Network Engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead technical role.
- Strong experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premises and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experienced in Data-Center management and maintenance procedures.
- Administration (Azure, AD, Linux, AWS, etc.) and network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPN, etc.)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing.
- Demonstrated familiarity with productivity tools such as project planning tools and Excel.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work including communication, execution, and results.
