Your new role
As an IT Intern, you will support the UAE IT function in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the business. Working closely with the local IT team, you will gain hands-on experience in end-user support, IT asset management, infrastructure support, and IT project coordination. Success in this role means providing timely support to users, maintaining accurate IT records, and contributing to ongoing IT improvement initiatives across the region.

You will join the IT team supporting Everllence UAE operations and report directly to the Regional IT Specialist. The team is responsible for end-user support, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, asset management, and technology enablement across the business. In this role, you will collaborate with employees across departments, regional IT colleagues, service desk teams, and external technology partners while contributing to the successful delivery of local and regional IT initiatives.

Your new role

Your Responsibilies
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Configure, test, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Support end users with Microsoft 365 applications and remote assistance.
- Coordinate with central IT teams and service desk teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Assist with IT onboarding activities for new employees.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records and asset lifecycle documentation.
- Support the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and internet service providers on support activities.
- Assist with network, information security, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Monitor and track local IT incidents and service requests
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Basic knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server operating systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and IT security concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and remote support tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, or Microsoft Azure fundamentals.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or Power Apps.
- Familiarity with Visio, Draw.io, or other process visualization tools.
- Previous internship, academic project, or practical experience in IT support
