Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and IT operations in Dubai.
- Plan, implement, maintain, and optimize servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization environments.
- Manage and maintain backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and system recovery solutions.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, system availability, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Administer and support Microsoft-based environments, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and related technologies.
- Ensure effective network security, access management, cybersecurity controls, and IT risk management practices.
- Implement appropriate controls to protect systems, data, applications, and IT infrastructure from security threats.
- Manage user access, permissions, authentication, and security policies in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT teams and end users, ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests.
- Develop and maintain IT infrastructure standards, procedures, documentation, and operational processes.
- Coordinate with IT vendors, service providers, technology partners, and external consultants to ensure effective delivery of IT services.
- Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, warranties, renewals, and IT asset management.
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, operational efficiency, system performance, security, and cost effectiveness.
- Lead and coordinate IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, implementations, and technology initiatives in line with business requirements.
- Ensure IT systems and infrastructure comply with relevant internal policies, security standards, and organizational requirements.
- Prepare and maintain IT infrastructure reports, performance metrics, incident reports, and management updates.
- Work closely with local and Group management to understand business requirements and align IT operations with overall business objectives.
- Support IT budgeting, technology planning, resource allocation, and infrastructure investment decisions.
- Ensure appropriate incident management, problem management, change management, and IT service management practices are followed.
- Maintain high availability and continuity of critical IT services while minimizing operational disruptions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, systems, and IT operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and systems management.
- Proven experience managing servers, networks, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in network security, cybersecurity, access management, and IT risk management.
- Previous experience managing or leading an IT team is highly preferred.
- Experience in IT vendor management, service provider coordination, software licensing, and IT asset management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple IT projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
