Job Purpose:
The role supports the organization's cybersecurity and business continuity objectives by maintaining robust network security controls, managing network-related security incidents, and ensuring the resilience and availability of critical network services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, administer, and monitor network security controls in compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
- Manage firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, NAC, wireless security, DNS, DHCP, and remote access solutions.
- Maintain secure network segmentation, access controls, routing policies, and traffic filtering.
- Monitor and respond to network security incidents, perform investigations, and coordinate remediation activities with relevant IT teams.
- Ensure continuous network visibility through log management, SIEM integration, and security monitoring.
- Conduct security reviews, configuration audits, firewall rule assessments, and vulnerability remediation.
- Support secure connectivity for third parties, cloud environments, VPNs, and disaster recovery infrastructure.
- Participate in change management by assessing security impacts of network modifications and deployments.
- Maintain network security documentation, incident records, and audit evidence.
- Collaborate with IT Governance and compliance teams to ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration and network security operations.
- Strong experience with firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, wireless networks, and secure connectivity.
