Key Accountabilities:
- Follow all relevant IT operations and infrastructure policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of subordinates to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and in compliance with established standards and procedures
- Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the IT operations and infrastructure units activity is carried out in an efficient manner Study various departments requirements and discuss needs with users to understand and clarify the requirements from the application system to be developed
- Carry out system analysis and design (applications/infrastructure), delegating less complex tasks to team members as part of capability building and training
- Prepare project plan and work programme for the team, assigning tasks and responsibilities and monitoring the progress of the project
- Undertake checks on the work completed by team members under own supervision to ensure outputs are of the technical standard
- Lead the process of system testing (applications/infrastructure) and ensures effective debugging to guarantee the smooth flow of systems in a timely manner
- Implement the application software and monitor the running of the system to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the system
- Select vendors for contractual work (applications/network/Infrastructure) defining the standard within which they must work in order to ensure highest levels of service and knowledge transfer
- Organise and control activities of the applications/ infrastructure /data centre / Network in order to ensure the effective implementation of services aligned with the requirements
- Manage the activities conducted on the network connectivity, security components to ensure that the connection is available between the data centres and all members in line with the SLA and the policies and procedures

Education:
Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or related fields
Bachelor's degree in Management Information System or any other related technical certificates (as per approved Memo)
Experience: 4-6 years of experience
