Main Purpose:
Drive end-to-end IT Operations by managing infrastructure, resolving incidents, and ensuring secure, reliable, business-aligned technology performance.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the IT Operations team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance, to cultivate a high-performing team that ensures the stability and efficiency of the IT environment.
- Oversee the daily activities of the IT support desk by managing ticket queues and prioritizing incidents, to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain high user satisfaction.
- Manage the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and telecommunications, by implementing robust monitoring and regular maintenance, to ensure high availability and reliability for all critical business systems.
- Monitor system performance and security by using advanced tools to track KPIs and security alerts, to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact business operations.
- Manage IT incidents and problems by leading a swift response process to restore service and conducting root cause analysis, to minimize business disruption and prevent future recurrence.
- Collaborate with other departments by acting as an IT business partner to understand their needs, to provide effective solutions, and ensure IT services are aligned with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers by conducting performance reviews against contract terms, to ensure the company receives the expected value and quality of service.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies through continuous learning and research, to recommend and implement improvements that enhance the efficiency, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure.
Job Requirements:
- Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proficient in English
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
