We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Program Manager who will be responsible for leading the implementation of strategic programmes and digital transformation initiatives. This individual will play a key role in ensuring technology alignment with the company's business strategic objectives, overseeing multiple projects across different business units, and ensuring timely, quality delivery within budget. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, including business leaders, vendors, and project teams, to drive successful project outcomes.
Our client based in Dubai, is one of the largest semi-governmental companies in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and renewable.
Key responsibilities:
- Programme Leadership: Lead end-to-end programme management, including planning, development, execution, and monitoring, to achieve business objectives. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to define programme scope, objectives, resources, and timelines. Establish governance frameworks to manage risks, interdependencies, and compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal teams (e.g., IT, operations, finance) and external vendors to understand business requirements, drive execution, and ensure seamless integration across systems.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee system implementations (ERP/CRM/ServiceNow/etc.), including requirements gathering, configuration, deployment, and integration with other platforms.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop, track, and manage project budgets. Optimize resource allocation to deliver programme goals effectively.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR) and implement best practices for data privacy and information security to mitigate risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive opportunities to enhance enterprise systems (ERP/CRM/ServiceNow/etc.) and business processes for increased efficiency.
- Change Management: Develop change management strategies to drive user adoption and ensure successful programme outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track programme progress, manage KPIs, and provide regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management to ensure accountability and transparency.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- 7+ years of advanced programme and project management experience, with exposure to multiple industries, including IT, telecom, finance, or digital transformation.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Certifications such as MSP, PgMP, PMP, or Prince2 are highly desirable.
- Project Management: Expertise in managing large-scale projects and complex programmes.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems. Familiarity with ERP, CRM, ServiceNow platforms (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of financial processes, compliance, and customer management.
