IT Project Manager

We are partnering with a professional services organization in Doha to hire an experienced IT Project Manager to drive the delivery of critical technology initiatives across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and has a strong track record managing end-to-end project lifecycles within banking, insurance, or fintech.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including technology, business, compliance, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, from initiation through to implementation and post-go-live support
• Define project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Manage stakeholder communication across business units, senior leadership, and external partners
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies proactively
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to drive execution
• Track and report project progress, including KPIs, milestones, and financials
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 5–10+ years of IT project management experience within financial services (banking, insurance, or fintech preferred)
• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects (e.g. digital transformation, core systems, payments, or data platforms)
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid)
