Job Description

ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Saudi Aramco. Inheriting DHL's logistics excellence and Saudi Aramco's extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth.

ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region.

Objective

The IT Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IT systems, software, and applications within ASMO. Their primary role is to establish and implement quality assurance processes and practices to identify and resolve defects, improve system performance, and enhance user experience.

General Responsibilities

  • The role holder will have knowledge of the rules, procedures and in some cases, the principles and practices within the IT Quality Assurance discipline. They will be tasked with selectively extracting, verifying, and compiling objective and measurable data. In some instances, they may determine the course of action based on established principles and modify existing processes and methods.
  • Identify quality assurance requirements, standards, and methodologies applicable to ASMO's IT systems and software development projects.
  • Define test objectives, scope, and test cases based on project requirements, specifications, and user stories; develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of IT systems and applications.
  • Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to identify defects, errors, and usability issues.
  • Identify and report software defects, bugs, and issues using defect tracking and management tools; monitor the resolution process, verify defect fixes, and conduct retesting to ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Track quality metrics to assess the quality of IT systems and software; prepare and present quality assurance reports, including test results, defect trends, and recommendations for process improvements, to IT Planning Manager.
  • Document test plans, test cases, test scripts, and quality assurance procedures to ensure repeatability and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain quality related policy documents.
  • Ensure quality principles are communicated throughout the IT organisation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
  • Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or any relevant certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
  • 5 years experience in the same Field.
