IT Specialist/Manager needed for an Oil & Gas company based in Dubai.
Location Dubai, UAE
Salary 15,000-22,000 AED/month + family visa & health insurance (depending on seniority)
Requirements:
5-10+ years of previous experience in managing or mentoring a small distributed team responsible for supporting users and managing Windows and MacOS devices
Experience in managing a Microsoft 365 environment including Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Project, and Teams is critical.
Day-to-day administration of internal infrastructure including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, VoIPphone systems, and endpoint security
Knowledge of supporting seismic workstations or engineering software packages useful
Knowledge of supporting financial systems or ERP systems useful
Process automation with scripting using languages such as PowerShell
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain the Firm s internal IT systems whether Cloud hosted or on-premises (including but not restricted to Office 365 Suite, phones,and firewalls. Dynamic, HP server, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) SOC 1 and SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, and its Cloud-based)
Ensure that backups and Disaster Recovery procedures are in place and are followed
Review and update existing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that they remain current and in compliance with our ISMS and QMS and create new SOPs as and when required
Experience in managing, investigating, and resolving vulnerabilities
Evaluate and recommend new IT systems to support suggested improvements and verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
