IT Support Engineer

Job Description

Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a skilled and service-oriented IT Support Engineer to manage and support its day-to-day technology needs in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting abilities, good knowledge of computer systems and networks, and the ability to provide timely technical assistance to employees while maintaining reliable IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and IT-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, applications, and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, network, and connectivity problems.
• Set up user accounts, email accounts, devices, and required software.
• Monitor basic network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT systems, equipment, and software documentation.
• Perform regular system updates, security checks, and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with data backup and recovery procedures.
• Manage IT support requests and ensure issues are resolved within appropriate timeframes.
• Support employees with Microsoft Office, operating systems, and business applications.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
• Maintain inventory records of computers, peripherals, software, and other IT assets.
• Follow company IT security, data protection, and access-control procedures.
• Assist with implementing new technologies and improving internal IT processes.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an IT Support Engineer, IT Technician, or similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows systems, printers, software, and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
• Good understanding of IT security and data protection practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-support abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple technical issues and work under pressure.
• Professional, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
• Relevant IT certifications will be an advantage.
