We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our fast-paced tech department and ensure our systems run flawlessly.
Role SummaryAs an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for all technical inquiries and issues across the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency for our staff. The ideal candidate is a resilient problem-solver who thrives under pressure, can efficiently manage a high volume of support tickets, and possesses a broad technical skill set encompassing software, networks, Windows OS, Zoho Suite, and email administration.
Key ResponsibilitiesHelpdesk & Ticket Management: Receive, log, and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner. Manage a high workload efficiently, ensuring consistent follow-ups and prioritizing critical issues to meet internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
System & Software Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve diverse IT issues related to desktop environments, business applications, and productivity software.
Zoho Suite Support: Act as the primary support contact for Zoho applications (CRM, Mail, Desk, etc.), assisting users with access, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Network & Connectivity: Troubleshoot basic to intermediate network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity) to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Windows Environment Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11) and related hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners).
Email & Account Administration: Manage corporate email accounts (creation, configuration, security, and troubleshooting), active directories, and user access controls.
Hardware Maintenance: Set up new workstations for onboarding employees, perform routine maintenance on IT equipment, and manage IT inventory.
User Training & Documentation: Guide users through basic technical processes and maintain clear IT documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven hands-on experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or a similar technical role.
Education & Credentials: Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Valid IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or CCNA) are highly preferred.
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in Windows Operating Systems and hardware troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of basic Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routers, Switches).
Experience administrating and troubleshooting Emails (Office 365, Google Workspace, or Zoho Mail).
Familiarity with the Zoho software suite is a distinct advantage.
Workload Management: Exceptional ability to handle high-pressure situations, manage heavy workloads, and multitask effectively without compromising the quality of support.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable technical solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical staff smoothly.
