Role overviewWe are looking for an IT Support Specialist who can manage day-to-day IT queries, troubleshoot issues, and support the team with hardware, software, and network requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in resolving user issues, managing devices, and coordinating with external vendors when needed.
Key responsibilities- Provide first-level IT support to employees (laptops, desktops, printers, internet issues).
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems across Windows & Mac systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain company laptops and software applications.
- Manage email setup, access issues, password resets, and account permissions.
- Support video conferencing tools (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, etc.).
- Handle network connectivity issues and coordinate with IT vendors as required.
- Maintain IT inventory (laptops, chargers, routers, accessories).
- Ensure data security and assist with backups and antivirus monitoring.
- Set up new employees devices and support IT aspects of onboarding.
- Respond to IT tickets and close issues within defined timelines.
Skills & qualifications- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 24 years experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware & software issues.
- Knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networks, routers, and security basics.
- Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple users.
Nice to have- Basic knowledge of cloud systems or CRM tools.
- Understanding of cyber security best practices.
- Experience supporting multi-location offices.
