Job Title: IT Technical Support Officer (On Site)

Location: Kuwait

Job Summary

As an IT Technical Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues within the company. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, provide technical assistance to staff, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software.

Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and telecommunication systems.

Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.

Respond to user inquiries, diagnose problems, and provide step-by-step solutions.

Document technical issues and resolutions to build a knowledge base.

Assist in IT-related projects, upgrades, and deployments.

Maintain data security and perform regular backups.

Qualifications

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in a technical support for minimum 4+ years.

Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.

Familiarity with network protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and common enterprise software.

Good understanding of security practices and data protection.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
