Italian Speciality Chef

Sheraton Miramar Resort, El Gouna is seeking an experienced and dynamic Italian Speciality Chef to lead our Italian culinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop La Piscina's Italian culinary concept.
• Create authentic Italian dishes with modern presentation.
• Develop seasonal menus, promotions and signature dishes.
• Ensure consistency through standard recipes and portion control.
• Train and develop the culinary team.
• Control food costs, inventory, productivity, and waste.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen organisation, hygiene and food safety.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef, F&B and service teams.

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in authentic and contemporary Italian cuisine.
• Excellent knowledge of handmade pasta, pizza, risotto and regional Italian specialities.
• Creative while respecting traditional flavours and techniques.
• Hands-on leader with strong team-development skills.
• Commercially minded, with sound knowledge of costing and menu engineering.
• Upscale restaurant knowledge is essential
• English and international experience are advantages.
