Java Full Stack Developer (Groovy Experience Manadatory)

Java/Groovy Full‑Stack Engineer | 12 Month Contract | Riyadh (Onsite)

I'm working with a leading bank in Riyadh that is looking for a Java/Groovy Full‑Stack Engineer to join them on a 12‑month onsite contract. This role is part of a major internal systems programme and will involve hands‑on development and technical delivery.

GROOVY EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of Java/Groovy enterprise web application development
• 3+ years of Spring Boot
• 2+ years working with Java enterprise applications and APIs
• Full‑stack engineering experience
• Experience building web‑scale applications
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and Typescript
• Strong Groovy development experience
• Experience configuring applications/systems using Groovy, Neo4j, JSON, GraphQL
• Experience handling API calls using Groovy, JSON, cURL, GraphQL
• Experience developing IT systems management applications
• Background in enterprise IT systems management
• Experience in technical project management
• Comfortable writing and working with query languages

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of the bank's project roadmap alongside IT, vendors, and other teams
• Help establish processes that support team‑based planning and predictable delivery
• Provide operational support for internal users of the Issue Management System
• Contribute to team-led planning and execution
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred (not essential)
