Role: JavaScript Developer

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

We are hiring a JavaScript Developer to build fast, interactive web

experiences and scalable Node.js services across Joveo's platform. You

will work in modern JS ecosystems — from browser to server — shipping

features that are used by hiring teams and job seekers globally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks

- Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js where applicable

- Integrate frontend components with REST and GraphQL API layers

- Write clean, modular, well-documented JavaScript and ES6+ code

- Ensure web performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

- Collaborate with product and design on iterative feature development

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+)

- Experience with React, Vue, or Angular for frontend development

- Familiarity with Node.js and server-side JavaScript patterns

- Understanding of browser rendering, web performance, and Core Web Vitals

- Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or ESBuild

- Comfort with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, or Playwright)
