Joinery and Woodwork Estimator

The company's head office in Muscat oversees administration and project execution. Global Woodwork is ISO-certified and ROP-certified for fire door manufacturing. With 127 advanced technology machines and over 400 experienced professionals, the company specializes in custom interior design woodwork for hospitality, residential, commercial, and hospital projects.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in our new office in Cairo, Egypt for an Estimator for Joinery and Woodwork. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various wooden manufacturing projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications, consulting with clients and internal teams, analyzing materials and labor costs, preparing bid documents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Estimator will also collaborate closely with project managers to ensure budgets are adhered to and timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimating and quantity surveying for joinery and woodwork
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and MS Office Suite
• Preferable Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is beneficial
