Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Joinery Estimator to provide accurate cost estimates for various joinery projects. The Joinery Estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.
Job Responsibility
- Study project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Calculate the quantity of materials and labor needed for joinery projects
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates for projects
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements
- Evaluate and update cost estimation methods and databases
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as needed
Skills Description
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Joinery Estimator or similar role
- Solid understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and processes
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office applications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
