Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Joinery Factory In-Charge who can manage factory operations and prepare accurate cutting lists for production. The candidate should have strong knowledge in joinery works, materials, and machinery.
Key ResponsibilitiesFactory Management- Oversee daily operations of the joinery factory
- Manage carpenters, machine operators, and helpers
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
- Maintain quality control of all joinery products
- Monitor material usage and reduce wastage
- Ensure safety procedures are followed in the factory
Cutting List Preparation- Prepare detailed cutting lists from drawings/shop drawings
- Optimize material usage (wood, MDF, plywood, veneer, etc.)
- Coordinate with design/technical team for clarifications
- Plan cutting schedules based on production priorities
Production Coordination- Coordinate with project managers and site teams
- Ensure timely delivery of finished products
- Track progress and report to management
- Handle troubleshooting in production issues
Inventory & Materials- Monitor stock levels of raw materials
- Coordinate with procurement for material requirements
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials
Requirements- Minimum 5–10 years experience in joinery/carpentry factory
- Strong knowledge of cutting list preparation
- Experience in handling factory teams and machines
- Ability to read shop drawings and technical drawings
- Good knowledge of materials (wood, MDF, laminates, veneer, hardware)
- Basic computer skills (AutoCAD, Excel preferred)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills- Experience in UAE/GCC projects
- Knowledge of CNC machine operations
- Ability to optimize production and reduce cost
