Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joinery & Kitchen Draftsman to prepare accurate shop drawings and technical details for custom joinery, kitchens, wardrobes, and related fit-out works. The ideal candidate will work closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs are practical, precise, and ready for manufacturing and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, doors, wall panels, and other joinery items
- Develop production drawings including dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and fixing details
- Review design drawings and BOQs and convert them into execution drawings
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure drawings comply with client requirements, site conditions, and industry standards
- Revise drawings based on client comments, site measurements, and approval feedback
- Prepare cut lists, material take-offs, and CNC-ready drawings when required
- Support factory and site teams during production and installation stages
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing control throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Drafting
- Minimum 35 years of experience in joinery and kitchen drafting
- Strong knowledge of custom joinery, modular kitchens, and fit-out details
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar is an advantage
- Good understanding of materials, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read architectural and interior design drawings
- Experience working with UAE/GCC projects preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
