Jr. Learning & Development Specialist

Job Purpose

Supports the L&D team in designing, developing, and maintaining training content for client programs and its flagship Future of Finance annual event. This is a hands-on role, contributing to content development projects, supporting instructor briefings, maintaining the content library, and helping ensure all materials are produced to Beacon FinTrain's quality standards and on schedule.

• Assist in developing training materials such as presentations, participant workbooks, facilitator guides, case studies, and handouts.
• Prepare initial content outlines and storyboards based on the learning brief provided by the Direct Manager.
• Develop pre- and post-training assessments based on the learning objectives of each program.
• Support the preparation of instructor briefing packs by compiling learning objectives, audience profiles, content summaries, and other relevant information.
• Support the L&D team's content development work for the Future of Finance event, including session materials, speaker briefing packs, and participant resources.
• Continue developing knowledge of instructional design, finance-related topics, and L&D practices.
• Coordinate with the Operations teamto ensure training materials are properly formatted, print-ready, and submitted on time.
• Review and proofread training materials to identify spelling, grammar, formatting, and content errors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, content development, or a related field (internship or project experience counts).
• Strong written Arabic and English communication skills with a high attention to details.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; ability to produce polished, well-formatted documents. (Canva is a plus)
• Eagerness to learn instructional design methodologies and apply them to real-world content projects.
• Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
