Job Summary
We are looking for a Jr. Technical Superintendent with relevant experience in engineering and technical repairs. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of offshore tugs and vessels operating in the oil & gas industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle engineering and technical repair activities.
- Support technical repairs and maintenance of offshore vessels.
- Troubleshoot and interpret complex technical issues.
- Coordinate with and motivate the technical team.
- Ensure smooth execution of repair-related activities.
- Work effectively under pressure and support operational requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma in Marine, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- COC Class 2 candidates are acceptable.
- Candidates without formal qualifications may be considered with extensive relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in engineering/technical repairs.
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of offshore tugs such as:
- AHT
- AHTS
- Supply Vessels
- Workboats
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferred based on the stated vessel environment.
