Junior Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant, based in Dubai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for daily financial transactions, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing. The role also involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budget management, and supporting the finance team with audits, tax filings, and other accounting-related tasks. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies will be a key focus.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and General Ledger management
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools and Microsoft Excel/other office productivity tools
• Attention to detail with skills in Data Analysis, Budgeting, and Reconciliations
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of VAT regulations and experience with tax filings (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding professional certifications (such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is a plus
• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred but not mandatory
