Euro Mechanical is looking for a Junior Accountant.
The Junior Accountant is responsible of supporting the Accounts Payable function through accurate processing of invoices, GRN reconciliations, vendor account maintenance, and timely payment execution, ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring correct PO/GRN matching and approvals.
- Support the GRN reconciliation process with Supply Chain and Operations.
- Assist with clearing legacy and outstanding vendor balances and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries.
- Support digitisation and automation initiatives in AP workflows.
- Ensure compliance with finance policies, controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and statement reconciliations.
- Prepare AP aging reports and assist with month-end closing.
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields.
- Up to 2 years of experience in accounting or administration.
