Job Summary
The Junior Accountant supports the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end accounting activities. Key Responsibilitie
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger account
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transaction
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and account balance
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entry.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulation
- Assist with payroll processing and expense reimbursements as required
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial report
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of tax regulations and statutory compliance
- Experience with ERP system
- Professional accounting certification (or pursuing one) is an advantage
