Hays have partnered with a prominent Investment organisation in Riyadh who are looking for a motivated Junior or Graduate Accountant to support the finance team in daily accounting operations.
The role will include maintaining the general ledger, preparing accounting entries, supporting reconciliations, and performing bank transfers and payment-related activities in line with company policies and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the General Ledger accurately and on time.
- Prepare and post journal entries under supervision.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Perform bank transfers and payment processing after obtaining the required approvals.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities when required.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for accounting records, payments, and transfers.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect invoices, approvals, and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
Requirements to apply:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
- Fresh graduate or up to 1-year relevant experience.
- Previous internship or cooperative training experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Strong academic record / outstanding university performance.
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly.
