About the Role
We are looking for aJunior Accountantto join our dynamic restaurant group in Dubai. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within the finance team of a fast-paced hospitality environment. Your main responsibility will be to ensure all financial and operational documentation is properly collected, verified, and filed in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain properbookkeepingand ensure all financial documents are organized and up to date.
- Manage and file allinvoices, receipts, and expense recordsfrom multiple restaurant locations.
- Prepare and maintainExcel reportssummarizing monthly revenues, expenses, and other key financial data.
- Support the finance department withmonthly debit and credit reconciliations.
- Verifycash and bank expenses, ensuring all entries are supported by proper documentation.
- Cross-check and reconcilebank statementswith internal records.
- Collect, review, and verify documents from suppliers and vendors.
- Support withoperations expense trackingand ensure all payments are properly documented.
- Assist indata analysisrelated to restaurant operations and financial performance.
- Coordinate withdelivery aggregators(e.g., Talabat, Deliveroo, etc.) to verify monthly reports and settlements.
- Provide timely submission of all documentation and reports to themain accounting department.
- Participate inaudits for previous financial yearsby organizing and retrieving required documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 12 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the hospitality or F&B sector.
- Strong proficiency inMicrosoft Excel(pivot tables, formulas, data organization).
- Solid understanding ofbasic accounting principlesand financial recordkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
