We are looking for a detail-oriented
Junior Accountant with a
minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with financial reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Process invoices, expense claims, and payment requests accurately and on time.
- Support VAT documentation and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations.
- Maintain organized financial records and assist during internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting-related queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
