Job Description

SOHO drives the success of ALO and AMIRI two leading luxury lifestyle brands shaped by innovation, mindfulness, and a strong sense of global community. As we continue expanding across Turkey, we're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our dynamic operations. This role will report to both Retail Manager in Turkey and Accounting Manager in Dubai, playing a key part in the financial backbone of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transaction Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring all financial data is up to date.
  • Engage in the preparation and issuance of tax invoices and the management of cash flow estimations.

2. Financial Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare financial documents such as tax returns and assist in both internal and external audit processes.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Collaborate closely with external accounting partners to ensure proper alignment on statutory reporting, tax filings, and compliance matters.

3. Purchase Orders and Payments:

  • Review purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Examine bills for accuracy, ensure completeness of all required documents for payment requests, and execute the payment approval process.

4. Bank Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile bank statements monthly, resolve discrepancies, and produce reconciliation reports.
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.

5. Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

6. Payroll Management:

  • Process payroll transactions including salaries, bonuses, and deductions in compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data for auditing purposes and ensure confidentiality of payroll information.
  • Coordinate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and to handle payroll queries effectively.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports and statements to management for review.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll-related tax and social security contributions and reports.
