We Are Hiring Accountant in Dubai for Construction

Job Title: Accountant

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee and manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

Project Accounting: Monitor and report on financial performance of construction and marble projects, ensuring proper allocation of costs, expenses, and revenues.

Cost Control: Track and analyze project costs, identify discrepancies, and assist in the development of budgets and forecasts.

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with VAT and other applicable tax regulations in Dubai, preparing necessary returns and liaising with external auditors and tax authorities.

Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.

Audit Coordination: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for daily operations, including liaising with banks and financial institutions.

Financial Analysis: Provide regular financial analysis and advice to senior management to support decision-making and business strategy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus).

Strong understanding of construction and project-based accounting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of local UAE tax regulations (VAT) and accounting standards (IFRS).

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
