Potential HR is hiring on behalf of one of its clients, a leading FinTech company specializing in digital financial solutions. The company is expanding its technical team and is looking for a motivated Junior Android Developer.
The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining secure Android mobile applications, implementing user-friendly interfaces, integrating APIs and financial services, fixing technical issues, and collaborating with software, product, design, and quality teams to deliver reliable and seamless digital payment and financial solutions using Kotlin or Java.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain Android screens, features, and integrations under senior guidance.
- Consume APIs, manage local data, and handle validation, errors, and application states.
- Implement responsive layouts that follow approved designs and Android guidelines.
- Write basic tests, fix defects, and support release and quality-assurance activities.
- Use Git, issue-tracking tools, and documented coding standards.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of Android development experience; strong personal or graduation projects are accepted.
- Good Kotlin or Java skills and understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle.
- Basic experience with APIs, local storage, debugging, Git, and mobile UI development.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and common Android architecture concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to user experience and stability.
- Exposure to Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Room, Retrofit, coroutines, Firebase, or Play Store release processes.
