Junior Architect (Hospitality & Retail Projects)

In addition to its physical venues, TRIO operates a growing catering business serving both private and corporate clients, expanding the brand beyond its locations.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, focused on hospitality and retail projects. The Junior Architect will support project teams in developing concept designs, schematic layouts, and detailed drawings for cafés, restaurants, and retail spaces that reflect TRIO's design language. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing architectural plans and 3D visuals, coordinating with consultants and vendors, and assisting in material selection and specification. The role also involves supporting project documentation, contributing to presentations, and helping ensure that design intent is maintained through all project stages, from initial concept to site coordination and final handover. The Junior Architect will collaborate closely with senior designers, project managers, and operations teams to deliver cohesive and functional environments.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a portfolio demonstrating hospitality and/or retail projects.
• Experience or familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, digital workflows, or coordination with technology partners.
• Basic understanding of Project Management principles, including time management, coordination of tasks, and communication with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, V-Ray, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
• Ability to read and produce technical drawings, details, and documentation with strong attention to accuracy and quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.
• Interest in hospitality and retail design, including materials, furniture, and user experience; knowledge of UAE codes and regulations is an advantage.
