We are a boutique accounting and tax firm based in Dubai, UAE. We provide end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and corporate tax services to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across various industries. We are a lean, professional team that values accuracy, ownership, and reliability.
You will be assigned a portfolio of clients that you will be responsible for. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, committed and takes pride in clean, accurate books.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce or relevant professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CMA)
- 1–3 years of accounting experience with UAE-based clients, UAE accounting firm experience preferred
- Working knowledge of IFRS and willingness to learn to fill any gaps
- Hands-on with Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, and/or Wafeq
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT — able to prepare a VAT audit file and working papers independently
- Able to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously without dropping the ball
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Key responsibilities for this role will include but not limited to:
- Managing bookkeeping and accounts for a portfolio of SME clients
- Prepare and share monthly P&L and management reports for your clients
- VAT detailed report and return preparation for clients
- Support annual CT return preparation under the UAE SBR regime
- Assist with compilation of annual financial statements
- Prepare monthly WPS payroll files, salary slips, and EOSB calculations for select clients
- Check and follow-up on missing information proactively to ensure well-organized, audit-ready records at all times
- Flag any issues, discrepancies, or at-risk deadlines to your manager before they become problems
