Job Summary:

The Junior Auditor Operations & Regulatory Compliance will assist in ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with a wide range of local and international regulations. This includes audits to meet requirements under the Transparency Act, EUTR Act, EU/Norwegian Regulations, and other relevant standards. The role is critical in driving robust internal controls and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical practices across SkeidarLiving Groups operations.

This role focuses on operations and compliance audits, emphasizing governance, sustainability, and ethical practices within SkeidarLiving Group&aposs processes.

Candidates with only financial audit experience or know-how need not apply, as they will not be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Operations Audit:

  • Conduct internal audits of SLG Stores to ensure alignment with company policies and best practices.
  • Evaluate efficiency in resource utilization and identify areas for optimization.
  • Prepare reports highlighting operational risks and opportunities for improvement.

2.Compliance Audit:

  • Internal Audit of all SLG Stores pertinent to operational activities, processes, and system to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including the Transparency Act, EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), and EU/Norwegian Regulations.
  • Monitor processes to guarantee compliance with sustainability, environmental, and ethical business standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of supply chain practices to ensure transparency and compliance with human rights and environmental obligations.

3.Overall Operations Oversight:

  • Review records to detect and prevent discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with senior auditors and line managers on preparingcompliance audits.

4.Internal Control Review:

  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal control systems to mitigate risks.
  • Recommend and support the implementation of stronger governance practices.

5.Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed, actionable audit reports with recommendations for management.
  • Follow up on action plans to ensure timely implementation of audit findings.

6.Regulatory Updates & Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on changes in the Transparency Act, EUTR Act, REACH Regulations, and other compliance standards.
  • Assist in integrating new regulatory requirements into the companys audit framework.
  • Support the development of innovative audit tools and techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of operational and compliance audit principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Completed Internal Audit Courses
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant audit experience
