Junior Barista (Specialty Coffee)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide range of specialty coffee drinks (espresso-based, pour-over, Chemex, etc.) with precision and consistency.
• Engage customers with product knowledge, coffee recommendations, and personalized service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and café.
• Calibrate coffee equipment daily and ensure all machinery is in excellent working condition.
• Monitor inventory and restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and barista tools as needed.
• Follow health, hygiene, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist in training new staff on coffee preparation and service standards.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal drinks and improving the coffee program.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a barista in a specialty coffee environment (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
• Solid knowledge of coffee beans, roast profiles, grind settings, and manual brewing methods.
• Skilled in latte art and espresso machine operation.
• Passion for coffee culture and continuous learning.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team setting.
