Job Description


Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, acquiring new merchants, and building strong client relationships by promoting Fawaterak's fintech and payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Generate new sales opportunities and identify potential merchants within the E-commerce and Fintech ecosystem.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and onboarding merchants.
  • Present and sell payment solutions including Payment Links, Wallets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to maximize retention and upselling opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Tech, Operations, and Finance) to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and activation.
  • Follow up on sales pipelines and maintain accurate CRM records and reports.
  • Stay updated on fintech trends, competitor offerings, and market needs to strengthen sales strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1–2 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably within Fintech, Payments, or E-commerce.
  • Proven experience in merchant acquisition and payment solutions sales.
  • Strong understanding of digital payment solutions and merchant onboarding processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline independently.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales reports is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, target-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
