What you'll do:

We are seeking a Junior Buyer to join the Eyewear, Jewellery and Watches team. The role focuses on driving profitable growth through strong brand partnerships, effective seller management, and trend-led assortment planning.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Management

  • Manage marketplace sellers performance including selection, pricing, availability, and content quality
  • Work closely with sellers to improve KPIs such as GMV, conversion, fill rate, and returns
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and service level agreements

Buying & Category Management

  • Own end-to-end buying for assigned categories across EJW.
  • Plan assortment, pricing, margins, and inventory in line with business targets
  • Drive seasonal and in-season strategies to maximize sell-through and profitability

Seller & Brand Partnerships

  • Build and manage strong relationships with brands, sellers, and distributors
  • Identify, onboard, and scale strategic brand partnerships
  • Lead commercial negotiations including margins, funding, exclusives, and joint business plans

External Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and brands
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to execute brand and category plans
  • Align brand objectives with platform/business goals

Data & Performance Analysis

  • Analyze sales, trends, and customer insights to inform buying decisions
  • Track and report category performance against targets
  • Use data to identify growth opportunities, gaps, and corrective actions

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of EJW
  • Proven experience in brand management and external stakeholder collaboration
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Data-driven decision making with strong analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple brands/sellers and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, Retail Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in buying, category management, or merchandising
  • Experience working with marketplace sellers and brand partners is mandatory
  • Prior experience in e-commerce / retail / consumer brands preferred
