Junior Commercial Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our Analytics Team, working closely with our CFO and Founder. You should be able to work with large financial and operational datasets, to generate useful insights for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets related to sales, costs, margins, footfall, and store performance
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for multiple stakeholders, including Finance, Operations and Senior leadership
• Support budgeting and forecasting exercises
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Marketing and HR) to support business decisions
• Assist in feasibility analysis, pricing reviews, and promotional performance evaluations

Requirements

• Graduate in Finance/Economics/Data Science with 23 years of experience in the retail industry (F&B experience strongly preferred)
• Language proficiency: English, with Arabic being an advantage (spoken and/or written)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations
• Experience working with large financial and operational datasets, with emphasis on data accuracy and consistency across reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication of insights to both senior stakeholders as well as non-technical staff
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
