Junior Designer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are hiring a Junior Designer to support concept development, produce design documentation, and assist across active studio projects. This is an execution-focused role for a motivated designer who is ready to develop their technical skills within a multidisciplinary design studio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support senior designers in producing drawings, 3D models, renderings, mood boards, and presentation decks across assigned projects.
• Maintain and organise project files, specifications, material boards, and design references according to studio standards.
• Research and compile materials, finishes, suppliers, plants, and technical references to support design decisions.
• Assist with client presentations and supporting project documentation.
• Contribute to site-visit preparation, surveys, photography, and post-visit documentation as directed by the project lead.
• Prepare work clearly and accurately for review, ensuring files are properly labelled and organised.
• Support coordination between design, visualisation, procurement, and project teams when required.
• Take on additional tasks assigned in line with the evolving needs of the studio.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Architecutre or landscape architecture
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating design thinking, visual quality, technical ability, and attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow direction, meet deadlines, and work reliably within a studio environment.

REQUIRED TOOLS

• CAD softwares · Adobe Creative Suite · 3D modelling & rendering software ·

PREFERRED

• UAE or GCC project experience.
• Experience in landscape, interior, architectural, or biophilic design.
• Familiarity with UAE materials, suppliers, planting, and construction practices.
• Experience preparing site-visit notes, surveys, photography, and design documentation.
• Basic knowledge of sustainable design and environmentally responsible materials.
• UAE driving licence.
• Arabic language ability.

A reliable and visually minded designer who enjoys developing ideas into clear design outputs. Comfortable supporting senior team members, learning new tools and processes, managing multiple tasks, and preparing work that is organised and ready for review.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

AED 4,500–5,500 per month, depending on qualifications, experience, and portfolio.
