Role Description

The Junior Electrical Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. Responsibilities include designing and reviewing electrical systems, contributing to overall design engineering efforts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The role also involves collaborating with various teams to develop power distribution systems and supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and emergency systems, ensuring compliance with Saudi codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and mechanical engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans
• Prepare specifications andBOQ documentation for electrical systems and equipment
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in electrical engineering and technology
• Prepare electrical calculations such as voltage drop, short circuits , using ETAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in electricaldesign
• Proficient in CAD software and electrical design tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, able to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines
• Familiarity with Saudistandards, codes, and safety regulations related to electrical engineering
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently
